Director of football rejects Tottenham transfer rumours

Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry has dismissed rumours linking George Boyd with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Boyd has been in fine form for the Championship outfit this season, despite their lowly league position, but insists there has been no talks with Tottenham.

“I have had no contact from Harry Redknapp about Boyd or Gordon Strachan about Mackail-Smith so there is nothing in those reports,” Fry said.
