Tottenham Hotspur are reported to be interested in signing Atletico Madrid’s Argentine winger Maxi Rodriguez.

Liverpool have also been credited with interest in the player, but according to the Daily Mail, Spurs plan to beat Liverpool to capture his signature by offering midfielder David Bentley on loan as part of the deal.
