If Bentley does not play ,its important for Bale to play as we have no effective free kick takers,and what about the goals he creates going forward,

BAE gets back and cuts out the balls coming into the box, something that Bale doesn’t do. I find Bale isn’t a left back and one of the reasons for our very poor performances for the last 4 weeks.
His crosses often are sent without looking up and often go to the otherside or into space.

Fergie wanted Bale to take over Giggs at Utd and even sent Giggs to persuade him to go Utd so we should develop this lad. Like Gio he had bad ankle trouble that can take a long time to heal and thats why its so sad he has gone on loan lets hope we get him back.I said a few weeks ago that we had a strong squad on paper only but its now starting to come back on the field my only concern is Ledley since he came back we have bean conceding late on just when i think he starts to feel tired and is knee swelling up he cant jump in this period and players are targeting him Harry needs to Start with Kaboul or Bassong first and bring Ledley on late in the game.We played well but three players allowed the goal Bale should have stopped Carr crossing Dawson should have headed back to Gomes or out for a corner and Gomes would have come for the cross if he was not still feeling is knock he grimaced a few times when diving alla in all we played well and the pitch was terrible and iced up.COYS

Nope EngNor disagree. I go to most games and Bale does not work as a Left-Mid and needs to come from deeper. He is a wing back effectively. One this has been mastered (he just turned 19) then in the future, he could take on other possitions. His corners are just starting and we are yet to see enough free kicks. Watch out for his monster-long throw ins. He is once again our best player for 3/4 games now, just like when he first joined us. Hope he stays fit and solid in defense… and in the team

Why? We need a LW, play BAE at LB and let Bale run the wing. Modric? I hear you say, play him as the MF play maker, or, in the gap between MF and Defoe and Defoe as the lone striker, Allen role.
