Tottenham Hotspur News - Hutton happy with loan move

Alan Hutton has spoken of his delight at joining Sunderland on loan for the rest of the season, as he just wants to play regularly.
Hutton made a bright start to his Tottenham career, being part of the Carling Cup winning side just four games after signing.
However, the form of Vedran Corluka this season has made first-team opportunities hard to come by, with Hutton only starting one league game all season.
A loan deal with Sunderland was agreed on transfer deadline day, and the Scottish defender has expressed his delight at making the switch north.
“Everyone wants to play football and I’m no different.
“But I know that, like anyone else, I’ll have to give 110 per cent to show I’m worthy of a starting place.
“I’m over the moon to be here. When I was at Rangers, the fans were superb and I’m sure Sunderland’s will be the same.”

Anyone else think the r/back situation is a bit funny?? Lost Chimbonda, Gunter, Hutton, Naughton in five or six months! The untested Kyle Walker as the only backup to Corluka?? If we lose him and Gomes to injuries, the defence will be:
Alnwick, Walker, Dawson, Bassong/kaboul, Bale?
