Sporting Lisbon are reportedly tracking Giovani Dos Santos and are keen to take him on loan.

The Mexican has struggled to make much impact at Tottenham since his move from Barcelona two years ago, with a penchant for nightclubs one of the reasons for this.

Dos Santos has already had loan spells with Ipswich Town and Galatasaray and Sporting are the latest club looking at taking him on temporarily, if they can work out the financial aspects of the deal.

A Sporting representative said, “We are working some options out, but in our price range and without madness.”
