Rumour Mill: Offers Incoming For Vincent Janssen?

According to Dutch news outlet Soccer News, Turkish giants Galatasaray are stepping up the chase for Spurs striker Vincent Janssen.

Galatasaray were reportedly interested in picking up the Dutchman’s signature in January, however Janssen remained committed to Tottenham despite struggling to make an impact in the Premier League.

In 38 appearances this season, Janssen has scored 6 goals and assisted 4 more in what’s been a largely disappointing campaign for the 22 year old. However, the forward has been commended by some of the Spurs faithful for his teamwork and high work-rate in the hope that patience will pay off in the coming seasons.

However, Galatasaray will put £17.4 million on the table in a bid to prise the striker away from North London this Summer, according to InsideFutbol.com. Tottenham initially signed Janssen from AZ Alkmaar for £17 million in 2016, which means Spurs would avoid making a loss and actually make a small financial gain.

In addition to this, both Lazio and Wolfsburg are also reportedly interested in signing the striker this Summer. However, there is no further information given on the interest from the two Italian and German sides. Would you accept the £17.4 million offer? Or would you want to give Janssen more time to prove himself?
