Was Manuel Pellegrini watching the same game as the rest of us last night?  It appears not, the Manchester City boss has claimed that Danny Rose deserved to be sent off and it was a clear penalty.

Pellegrini was speaking at the post-match press conference and he was right in saying that City were the better side, but it’s absolutely laughable that he thinks it was a penalty.

Maybe Newcastle boss Alan Pardew was right in what he called him on the touchline at a recent match, an old ****.

Manuel Pellegrini told the press conference: “I don’t think (the red card) was the big decision because it think that before the red card we missed at least five clear chances to score on the first half. If we review the first 45 minutes I don’t remember just one chance from Tottenham. Our team was the best team from the beginning. If you ask me..i am not the referee so for me it was a clear penalty and a clear red card because it was the last man.”

So pathetic. You have won the game. It's not a penalty. There is 0% doubt. It's not dubious. Rose won the ball. When you win the ball it is not a penalty. He has watched it. He has watched Rose win the ball. He goes into a conference and says it's a penalty. Total idiot

No penalty, no off side goal , who knows what may have happened it should have been 1-1 at half time . The game should have been 11 against 11. I do think spurs would of won the game and that's with all our current injuries. Well done lino you cocked the game up for all spectators and especially the spurs fan's who spent good money to go to the game.

Clear penalty. Rose touch Dzeko right’s ankle with his left knee then touch the ball. Penalty!
