Tim Sherwood was left to praise Manchester City after we suffered another thrashing at the hands of the title contenders.

Sherwood is right to admit to holding his hands up, Tottenham could have been 3-0 down at half-time.  The sending off certainly inflated the score line, but we were left to chase shadows for the majority of the match – David Silva played between the midfield and defence and caused us all sort of problems.

Anyhow, next up is Hull and we need to put things right.  To hear Sherwood’s thoughts, click on the image above.

Sherwood told the press: “They were excellent weren’t they. You have got to hold your hands up. Even before the sending off…they worked us around the pitch didn’t they and they worked us from all the angles and this team are the best team in the league by a country mile.”

Stop telling everyone how great City are to excuse our defeat, and if he says we dont need any players in order to finish top four then he clearly is not the man for the job
