PLAYER RATINGS: Tottenham 3-1 Fulham

Hugo Lloris – A world-class save from a close range Rodallega bullet header and a smart stop from Sidwell’s penalty limited the Cottagers to just one goal. His superb performance was exemplified late on by a scrambled save from Amorebieta.

Kyle Naughton – Solid at right back. A more than capable understudy for Walker. Having a good spell under Sherwood.

Younes Kaboul – Started off shakily, as would appear to be the norm, but grew into the game, making a crunching challenge on Karagounis, and finding the net with his knee from Eriksen’s free-kick.

Zeki Fryers – Looked comfortable throughout. Centre-back appears to be his preferred position – certainly, he has impressed there more this season than at left-back.

Danny Rose – An improved defensive performance from Rose who has thankfully managed to keep himself out of any negative headlines this week. More subdued going forward but he may have been making a concerted effort to be defensively solid, after a weak performance at the Hawthorns.

Aaron Lennon – Another vastly improved display from Lennon, picking up another assist with a brilliant left-footed cross for Kane. Worked hard in defence and looked a threat going forward, even providing another defence-splitting left-footed dink for Kane; he is evidently growing in confidence.

Paulinho – Excellent performance from the Brazilian, who is starting to indicate on a regular basis just why he is picked for his national side so often. Controlled the tempo of the game and put himself on the scoresheet.

Nacer Chadli – Offered little today.

Christian Eriksen – Another fine performance from the Dane, who created two goals with delightful pacy and direct free-kicks, and generally provided the impetus behind our attacks.

Harry Kane – Got himself on the scoresheet for the 3rd successive game and is also growing in confidence. Makes intelligent runs to link up well with Eriksen, Lennon and Adebayor.

Emmanuel Adebayor – Quieter today. Dropped deep on a regular basis to pick up the ball but was never in the key areas when he needed to be. Still, a decent performance from the Togolese forward.

Substitutes

Mousa Dembele – Solid.

Roberto Soldado – Hungry but quiet.

Andros Townsend – Won a free-kick in the short time he was on the pitch.
