Benoit Assou-Ekotto has pledged his future to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Cameroon international has been linked with a move to Paris St Germain but believes that Spurs can force their way back into Champions League.

Harry Redknapp joked that Benny may not be interested in football but he is ‘top drawer’.

Assou-Ekotto had arguably his best season in a Spurs shirt last year and will battle it out with Danny Rose for the left-back position.

He told Sky Sports News: “I don’t want to move to another club.

“If I have a good feeling with my chairman I will stay.

“I don’t have a reason to move, even to play in the Champions League. We can do it with Spurs.

“We have done it once already, so why not again?”
