Gareth Bale has pinpointed confidence as the key reason for Tottenham’s fantastic run of form.
Five of our six next games are against sides which find themselves in the bottom half of the Premier League table and with a game in hand – we are currently in a great position to push on.
He told the club’s official website: “The confidence is high, we’re all working for each other, that’s the most important thing and the wins are coming.
“Confidence is massively important. All the lads have got that confidence and when you have it, you express yourself and that’s when you play your best football.
“It was great to score a goal like that, it helped us get the three points and that’s the most important thing.
“We’ve been playing some great football, scoring plenty of goals and hopefully we can keep it going.”
