Bale, Lennon, Gallas injury update

Tottenham Hotspur have this afternoon released a brief update on the fitness of Gareth Bale, William Gallas and Aaron Lennon after all three were forced off injured during the 2-2 draw against Basel.

All three players underwent scans on their respective injuries today – Bale (sprained ankle ligaments), Gallas (calf strain) and Lennon (soft tissue contusion below the knee) and the results showed that all three are expected to return to training within two weeks.

The trio will definitely miss the Premier League match against Everton on Sunday, the return leg against Basel next Thursday and we’ll be hoping at least to have Bale and Lennon fit to face Manchester City at the Lane on April 21st.

It has now become a blessing that our match against Chelsea had to be delayed due to their continued involvement in the FA Cup.

Two massive matches await us in the form of Everton and Basel and it will be interesting to see how we cope without our wide pair.
