Bent taken off plane to hold transfer talks

It is being reported that Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent has been called off the flight to China.

The Spurs player was due to travel with the rest of the squad this afternoon for the Premier League Asia Trophy tournament which begins in Beijing on Wednesday.

Sunderland or Aston Villa are said to be the club who Bent will be holding talks with.
