Bentley ruled out of Tottenham’s tour of the USA

David Bentley has been forced to miss Spurs’ tour of the USA after suffering an ankle injury.

A statement on the official Spurs site read: “MRI scans on Monday have confirmed that David Bentley has damaged right ankle ligaments.

“The midfielder was forced off with the injury in the first half of our pre-season friendly against Bournemouth on Saturday and as a result will now miss our tour of the United States to receive further treatment at Spurs Lodge.”

I like bentley and would keep him he is good back-up to azza. Just read somewhere else harry has had a long chat with joe cole and explained to him that spurs are going in the right direction so come on joe join a real football club where your talents will be applauded,where you will be loved for your individual skills!
