Tottenham are considering a move for Real Betis winger Alvaro Vadillo, after the 20-year-old’s contract talks with the La Liga club broke down.
Real Betis has publicly stated that they have yet to receive a formal bid for their former youth player but reports claim that both Tottenham and Sporting Lisbon are keen to land Vadillo.
Vadillo is trying to force his way out of the club, stating that the club should allow him to leave on a free transfer while the Betis are keen to earn a profit from their years of investment into the former youth product.
Aaron Lennon’s time at Tottenham looks to be up after not being allocated a Premier League squad number by Mauricio Pochettino. Lennon spent the second half of last season on loan at Everton, who are still keen to turn it into a permanent move.
