Boss to speak with Levy over striker’s future

Harry Redknapp has admitted that he doesn’t know what is happening surrounding the future of Tottenham striker Darren Bent.

The 25-year-old was taken off the plane before Spurs were due to depart for Beijing, but hasn’t heard anything further about a deal with Sunderland.

“I have no idea,” Redknaoo said. “I haven’t spoke to the chairman for two days so I don’t know where we are with that deal with Sunderland.

“When we came away it was very close but I have not heard any more. I’ll speak with the chairman and see if anything is happening but if not then we have a terrific strike force for next season.”

Bye Bye Bent me old mucker, shame things never really panned out for you at the Lane, but hey id i was you id opt for Villa, least they in Europe and O’Neil is a good manager who will be able to harness your ability , what little there might be in there LOL Only joking benty, your a star : )
