what is it you people don't get? Suarez will never join us, we are not a top club yet, don't forget we still have to qualify for the champs league proper and our only world class player is modric. i'm just as excited as everyone else about being involved in the champs league, but i am also realistic about our squads chances, we can't compete in the premier league challenging for a 4th spot and play champs league, and knowing our luck we'll get drawn in a group with inter and real and get smashed by them.

Suarez up front. Don't see us needing anyone else.
The gap between 4th and Top 2 is huge and can only be closed by having 2 or 3 world class players (likes of Rooney, Drogba, Ronaldo etc.). That calibre is obviously beyond us at present so would be happy with an ambition of 3rd above the Woolwich Wanderers, and enjoying our 1st taste of Champs Lge.
Not fussed at all about not getting Cole – couldn't see him getting in team ahead of Modric, so what would have been the point of putting him on the wage bill. Wish him well at Liverpool – he seems a decent chap so hope he can help bring a bit of soul to a great club that seems to be going down the swanny.

We do not need Peter Beardsleys love child at our club. Joe Cole is one of those players who is a better player the less he plays. Look at his games to goals and games to assists ratio all through his career it's toot.
