Spurs News - Crouch looking to pip Arsenal to third

Peter Crouch believes it would be the icing on the cake if Tottenham can pip Arsenal to third place.
Spurs are guaranteed a place in the Champions League qualifying round by beating Manchester City and can finish third if, Spurs win at Burnley on Sunday and Arsenal lose to Fulham.
Crouch said: “If Arsenal lose, we’ve got an opportunity, and there’s no way we won’t be up for it on the last day just because we’ve qualified for the Champions League.
“We’ll be going all out to finish strongly at Burnley and get a result, and see what happens.
“I’ve got to be honest, we didn’t dream about catching Arsenal. They were challenging for the title at one point, and we were never in the title race. But it’s a possibility and that would be fantastic, the icing on the cake.”

Be nice if Fulham didn’t have such a big game on Wednesday so in all probability they won’t be playing a strong side against the gooners so whilst its a nice thought I can’t really see it happening but we can only do what we can by beating Burnley. Lillywhitetilidie
