Crouch: Only a win will do

Peter Crouch has signalled the importance for Tottenham to get all three points against Portsmouth on Saturday.
With Manchester City and Aston Villa failing to win in midweek, the Spurs striker says that those results will mean nothing unless they can record a win aganst Pompey.
“We knew straight away, as soon as we got in the changing room,” he told the club’s official site. “You couldn’t fail to hear the cheers around the ground when the goals were going in and after the game we heard City had lost and Villa had drawn.
“It was fantastic for us but we’ve still got a lot of work to do.
“We’ve got to make sure we get the points on the board, otherwise those results mean nothing.
“It’s still down to us and that starts with Portsmouth on Saturday. We’ve got to pick up points and, certainly, with game at home against the team that is bottom of the table, we need to make sure we do a job and get a result.
“We’ve got some difficult games to play and I still think it will go right down to the wire.”
