Crouch too expensive for Stoke

Stoke boss Tony Pulis has ruled out a move for Tottenham striker Peter Crouch.
Reports on the weekend claimed that Pulis was keen to take Crouchy to the Britannia Stadium, but has moved to quash these rumours.
Harry Redknapp has previously stated his intention to keep Crouch at the Lane after he had been linked with a return to Liverpool.
Pulis told Sky Sports News HD: “No, we wouldn’t be able to afford Peter Crouch.”
