The transfer window may be over but loan deals can still take place and one which we all expected to take place has been confirmed today. David Bentley has joined Blackburn Rovers on loan for the remainder of the season.
Bentley joined Spurs from Blackburn for £15million in 2008 but he failed to make an impression at White Hart Lane and found himself out on loan to Birmingham, West Ham and even FC Rostov from Russia.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at Spurs at the end of the season and will use his 93-day loan spell at Ewood Park to try and earn himself a permanent deal.
