Spurs and Middlesbrough face off for the first time in absolute ages. The last time we faced them was a four nil win in 2009 and that was the final meeting before they got relegated that season.
A big game for:
Janssen: Much has been made of the injury to Kane and Janssen has a point to prove today. It is important for him to score on a regularity as he has yet to get into the swing of scoring in the league.
Eriksen: He was dropped against Sunderland following lacklustre performances. It is now down to him to prove he is still our midfield maestro.

A. Negredo: The Spaniard has been a patch against us during his time at City. He has started the season well and is a big aerial threat for Spurs.
