Tottenham Hotspur have made a move for Lassana Diarra according to Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old midfielder is out of favour at Real Madrid and Harry Redknapp is keen to link up again with the player he managed while at Portsmouth.

Apparently however Diarra was present at big spending PSG’s 1-0 defeat to Lorient on Saturday which has sparked rumours he could be set for a return to France.

    been mooted for a week now this is a definate and he will sign either today or tommorow.i know people will say we would rather have a striker for that money,but firstly i dont think it will be anymore than 12,and lets wait till the window ends to see if we can get that striker.no harm in shoring up the team with a player like diarra and with bale and lennon flying down the wings,having him to win the ball and give it to them may be a great asset

    He would be the perfect player for that midfield, Jenas was shocking on Sat and would be very Welcome and then we just need another CB and a Striker and I think we will be ok.

    Diarra is a class act, probably alongside Luka will be first choice, his use of the ball is better than Sandro at the moment, we now have 4 top class central midfielders with Hudd too.

    This has been mooted by the ITK’s for about 2 weeks though so maybe they actually do know something

    Well i must the only Spurs fan who is not impressed or appeased with this prospective signing. What about a bloody STRIKER who can score ???????? Will Diarra be playing upfront knocking in 20 plus goals a season ???????????
