Eidur Gudjohnsen has become the latest player to be linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

According to the Daily Mirror, the former Chelsea and Barcelona striker who is now playing his football at Monaco is also wanted by Blackburn Rovers and West Ham.

The 31-year-old was dropped before Christmas after failing to score a goal this season.  He is valued at around £1.5million.

“I am not sure what he is going to do,” His father and agent Arnor Gudjohnsen said. “He is going to take the next two weeks to decide. He could stay. He is very open. Nobody knows yet.

“He is obviously seriously thinking about a return to England but he has not made any decision. It is in his hands.”
