Transfer speculation is increasing at Tottenham following the news that Moussa Sissoko has been given permisison to leave the France squad to complete a transfer.
There has been no confirmation on whether White Hart Lane is the intended destination of the Newcastle United midfielder, despite the fact that paper talk suggested that our valuation was way off Newcastle’s £35M asking price.
Sissoko’s stock rose after impressing during Euro 2016 and has been with the French national team in preparation for their friendly with Italy on Thursday and the World Cup qualifier on Tuesday on Belarus.
The France national team’s official Twitter account confirmed the midfielder has been granted time away to tie up a deadline day transfer,
We just need to wait and see if it is indeed Spurs where he will be ending up.
Sissoko has made 133 appearances for the Magpies, scoring 12 times.
