Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur are among those interested in Fredy Guarin.
The Colombian midfielder has attracted a lot of interest since moving to the Serie A giants from Porto in 2012, but Inter are keen to hold onto the 26-year-old.
Guarin is able to operate as a playmaker, in the centre of midfield or on the right flank and is known for being able to shoot from distance comfortalby with both feet. He notched 11 goals in 63 appearances for Porto and has 4 in 42 matches for Inter.
Inter paid €11 million for his services and are likely to want at least €16 million to part company.
Moratti said: “Guarin? He is a really good player and for that reason he is liked by others.
“Tottenham are really interested.”
