Gomes: Wolves deserved to win and we were poor

Heurelho Gomes admits that Tottenham were poor in their 1-0 defeat at Wolves last night.

The defeat means that the Premier League newcomers have done the double over Tottenham this season and could end their hope of Champions League football.

Redknapp said: “We lose a little bit of concentration for games like this. The best sides win these games and that makes the difference in the table.

“It was our most disappointing result of the season. Away from home, we normally play very well but not in this game. We were poor.

“We had just one chance to score in the first half and in the second half we created nothing. Wolves deserved to win. It was a difficult day but we have to forget about it and concentrate on Sunday’s match against Bolton in the FA Cup.”

    I ask spurs fans league or a day at wembley? I would go for the league every time! Its OK for Arry Redknapp to say forget about the lose, That fine for some one on thousands of pounds a week, I went to the wolves game lastnight cost me be the best part of £250.
    £250 to watch that load of crap, I have been a spurs fan 27yrs never have i disliked a manager never have i known more then the manager, Spurs fans must take note this manager is a blagger and knows nothing, Arry must go!

    just got back from the game last night, had a few beers with some spurs fans we bumped into in a bar after the game, didnt get to bed til 6 this morning, we could be the worst team in the country and be relegated season after season, id follow them regardless for nights like that one.

    3rd spot is practically impossible to achieve, let alone 4th place, which has almost all but gone now, thanks to HR’S ineptability to ‘sort’ games out!. far to many games have accumulated in dropped points/no points to distance themselves away from the rest of the pack chasing the top 4 postions in the league. i hope they can do it, but my head says it aint gonna happen……now

    Thank God for our Gomes,for me he is our best player by far,its because of him we are not even lower in the league.If Harry had his way ,David James would be ahead of him,but he knows the fans will go berserk if this happened.
