Who is Harry Kane’s Ballon d’Or competition?

Earlier today we learned that our very own Harry Kane had been shortlisted for the 2017 Ballon d’Or award which is given to the world’s best player.

The Tottenham striker is among a 30-man shortlist for the award, which is given to the world’s best player that is picked by France Football magazine.

Kane is among six other Premier League players who have been nominated for the prize with David de Gea, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane, Kevin de Bruyne and N’Golo Kante and Eden Hazard also being chosen.

I think it’s fair to say that we don’t expect Kane to pick up the award this tine around, but he’ll definitely win in the future if he keeps progressing the way he has been.
