King: Spurs players want Redknapp to stay

Ledley King hopes Harry Redknapp snubs England and remains in charge at Spurs.
The Tottenham skipper has praised Redknapp for the work he has done since taking up the reigns at White Hart Lane but wants the gaffer to remain at the club.
Ledders has urged for focus until the end of the season and rightly so – we don’t want this speculation to derail our hopes of a title push or finishing in the Champions League spots.
There is no doubt in my mind that Harry will move onto take up the England position in the summer – but it would be a disaster if we were to lose our manager and not be comforted by the fact that he has lead us once again into the Champions League.
King told the press when asked about Redknapp’s future: “As a group of players we love him and hopefully he will stay.
“This sort of speculation always happens in football, but we would love to keep him.
“Harry has brought the club on massively. We were bottom of the league when he first came in and the results picked up immediately.
“Straight away he showed his people skills, his ability to lift players even when their confidence was low.
“He has gone from strength to strength, brought in some good players, experienced players who know what it takes. It has been really good.”
“We need to keep our focus until the end of the season. What will happen in the summer will happen,” he added.
“I am pretty sure the gaffer will be here until then.”

Is it because Spurs are on top of their Premier League history or is it because the hasn't been an englishman on this position since 2007 when Steve McLoser got kicked.
To me Harry is like a Coaching-legend for this team who has to complete his wonder.
Everything he reached is a CL quarterfinal which has been clearly lost against one of the best teams in the world. Yet.
He has unfinished business here. Really a point to prove. Anything less than the BPL title is not important since he's won the FA Cup with Portsmouth. Levy has to promise him the core won't be sold aka Modric & Bale. If that 60m were a real promise, we can have several runs at Europe again.
