“I don’t think we will let him go too easily”

Joe Jordan has insisted that Peter Crouch will be staying at Tottenham.
The England striker has been linked with a return to Liverpool under new boss Roy Hodgson, but the powers that be at White Hart Lane have no interest in selling Crouch.
Jordan believes that the beanpole forward has impressed during his stint at the club – and the fans of course will never forget his header which secured Champions League football at Manchester City.
“I don’t think we will let him go too easily,” Jordan told ESPN Sport.
“We had a lot of competition when we brought Peter in and he has done very, very well,” said Jordan.
“He is a player that has proved himself at Tottenham.”

A lot of the players being talked about this year are no better and sometimes worse than what we already have.
eg. Huntelaar: Is he really that much better than any of Pav Crouchy or Keane. Ashley Young is he better than either bale or lennon.
I would rather a cheeky bid for Downing less money and harder working than Young.
spurs should concentrate on getting the best out of the players we have
