Joe Cole’s agent rejects Spurs move rumours

Apparently Joe Cole’s agent has denied reports that the Liverpool midfielder is set to join Tottenham Hotspur.

Reports in Sunday’s press had claimed that the England midfielder was set for a medical at Spurs this week ahead of a £3million deal.

A poster on the popular Spurs forum FTL called The Godfather had this to say: ‘Just had it confirmed from his agent David Geiss that we have NO interest in his client. Infact, he went as far as saying that there is currently no concrete interest in him.’

Judging by this development and the comments we saw on our story earlier today, the majority of Spurs fans don’t want Cole at the Lane.

    of course the fans dont want him, he rejected spurs for liverpool last season. also he is very injury prone and is useless. a stumpy little show pony doing backheels and a wage thief, maybe the hammers could use him in the championship.

    Dont need Cole – we already have a decent player in Kranjikar – so why are we offloading a decent player for an injury dud!!
