Kane forced off early in Bournemouth victory

Harry Kane was forced off early in our 4-1 victory over Bournemouth in this afternoon’s Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium.

Kane had an awkward clash with the Bournemouth keeper Asmir Begovic after just 34 minutes of the match, appearing to twist his ankle under pressure from Begovic, as he finished home Christian Eriksen’s cross for a goal that was subsequently ruled out for offside.

The England international received on the pitch attention, before limping to the sidelines and down the tunnel, and was then replaced by Erik Lamela.

Though his influence is obvious, his {Kane’s} team mates coped well without their star man. Two goals from Heung Min Son and one a piece for Serge Aurier and Dele secured all three points, moving us third, one point ahead Liverpool and within four points of Manchester United in second, Kane is now a serious doubt for Tottenham’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Swansea at Liberty Stadium next Saturday.
