In Spurs’ second game of their tour os the USA, they triumphed over the New York Red Bulls, 2-1.
Robbie Keane and Gareth Bale got the all important goals for Spurs, turning around the scoreline after ex-Barcelona man, Thierry Henry put the Americans in front.
Harry Redknapp took time to single out his goalscorers for praise following the match, clearly pleased that Keane got himself back among the goals.
“Robbie needed it, he had a couple of opportunities tonight.
“He pulled off into some great positions as he always does, he just didn’t manage to finish one.
“But in the end he got there and then Gareth Bale did well for the other goal, so it was all good.”
Keane was happy to force his name on the scoresheet after spurning more opportunities and declared his excitement for the remaining friendlies.
“It was a good work-out for us and we look forward to the next coming games.
“Obviously I was playing up front on my own and it’s important to play on the shoulder and play in between people.
“I nearly got in a few times and in the end got a goal, and most importantly we got a win and I thought I lasted well today.”

If he put the same effort in to his game as he did his constant whinging and arm-raising then he'd be quality. But he's lost it. If we can get +£6mil then sell.
he cant get past his marker, and will struggle in the premiership this season.
he had a few chances and didnt look dangerous ,
maybe the mls wud suit him, but i think he may struggle their too,
