Tottenham are offering striker Robbie Keane at a knock-down price as manager Harry Redknapp looks to change his forward line ahead of Spurs’ Champions League campaign.
The Republic of Ireland international spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic and the Daily Mirror are reporting that Spurs are prepared to listen to offers of around £8million.
Aston Villa and Birmingham are both keen on the forward with Spurs said to be now willing to accept a minimum cash-down payment of £6m with various add-ons worth around £2m.

A good but not great player who would have been fondly remembered if it weren't for his defection. Get rid.
See ya later keano, time for you to join another boyhood idol
I don't want to hate him due to the service he's given Spurs over the years. I'd give him until January to prove he's still got it. If not, I'm afraid he'll need to go. It'd be for his own good as well as ours.
A mistake give this prolific scorer a chance to show he wants to stay and play, he deserves that if indeed that is what he wants. He adds more to the team than JD. Don’t be so harsh on Robbie.
get rid now. His heart isn't in it, and he's been woeful since Berbatov did one to Utd.
Big fish, little pond. Pond gets bigger, fish realises he's a twat.
He only worked together with berbatov they reminded me of sheringham and klinsmann partnership
we got a great price for keane from liverpool, we should have never have taken him back. hes not the same player, hes slow and offers no real outlet and often looses the ball so cheap.
we need pace up front, we only have defoe and when he got injured we found it difficult to break down teams as we had no1 to get behind the back line. crouch is slow and pav is no speed demon
sell pav and keane as they are both surplus to requirements now, even though we love pav he aint a striker that teams feel terrified about. there are plenty of players like falcao, forlan, dzeko, fabiano that we can bid for, these are class players that can make a difference that will take us to the next level
Take the money & run! Keane’s days r numbered at Lane. The love affair is firmly over. Him being vice-Captain & being allowed to go on loan- & our freedom in playing without his tiresome gesticulations speaks volumes.
