Niko Kranjcar believes that he can play in the same Tottenham midfield as compatriot Luka Modric.
The midfielder joined from Pompey just before the summer transfer deadline closed, with many believing that he was brought in as a temporary replacement due to Luka Modric’s broken leg.
Kranjcar, however, is looking forward to playing with his Croatian team-mate in the same midfield.
He said on Sky Sports News: “I am convinced both of us will prove that we will be able to play together and function on the pitch in the best way possible as we do when we play together for the national team.”
