Good news – Mark Lawrenson has predicted that Tottenham will draw 1-1 at West Bromwich Albion tomorrow.
The constant Movember-wearing BBC pundit usually gets it wrong when it comes to Spurs predictions, but we’ll give him credit where credit is due. He did get the 2-0 result against Aston Villa spot on, so let’s hope he’s got his prediction for the clash at the Hawthorns all wrong.
We haven’t got the best of records at West Brom – I remember vividly that freezing December evening a few years ago when Kanu scored a brace against us. The journey home wasn’t much fun that’s for sure.
We’re going for a 2-1 win for Redknapp’s boys with Bale and Modric getting the goals.
He told BBC Sport Online: “Is there a better midfield than Tottenham’s at the moment?
“They take some stopping and the team is geared up to go forwards but the thing with Roy Hodgson is that he likes to plot the downfall of teams who play attacking football.
“Tottenham played on Monday night but I don’t see that as an issue at all as they are playing really well at the moment.
“But West Brom will make it difficult for Spurs to play and I see this as a draw.
“Prediction: 1-1.”
