BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will beat Wigan Athletic on Sunday.

Last time out, Lawrenson correctly predicted that Spurs would beat Sunderland, but said the score would be 3-1 when it ended up as a 2-0 win for Harry Redknapp’s side.

He told BBC Sport Online: “You are never quite sure what you are going to get with Wigan this season and they have turned into a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde side.

“I reckon with Tottenham at home and Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Robbie Keane all available they will be too strong for Wigan.

“Verdict: 2-0.”

This is of course bad news,as this does give Wigan a phsychological advantage. When I think that Lawro gets paid for his comments I really wonder how he keeps his job. Lawro’s predictions are laughable!!!They are one of the two things that make me suppress a sense of irritation. The other one is “(Big Mouth)Keane” giving his predictions and comments.
