Lawro: Spurs will beat Stoke

BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will beat Stoke City on Saturday.

Last time out, Lawrenson incorrectly predicted that Spurs would draw 1-1 at Portsmouth, when it ended up as a 2-1 win for Harry Redknapp’s side.

He told BBC Sport Online: “Stoke are now looking more comfortable in the Premier League and have had some quite good results. Questions are still there to be asked about the team on their travels.

“This weekend they are facing a free-flowing and confident Spurs side who create plenty of chances. No points for Stoke.

“Verdict: 2-0.”

    I get the old funny feeling of a 3 -1.
    Same old story, we come out and play the football that has pushed us up the league and score some quality goals. Stoke are a cracking team considering how long they’ve been up, but not enough to beat us at whl (famous lat words maybe XD)

    Lawro the hopeless anti-spurs pundit finally backs Spurs to win comfortably- now I´m worried. Really do not understand why the BBC puts up two blinkered biased former Liverpool players on MOTD.

    I must admit to being a little concernd that Lawro has predicted a win for us.He is nearly always wrong and I think someone should talk to him and try to get him to change his predition.

    lets make it 4-0 and go top. Come on lets have some ambition. Lets face it there is a good chance liverpool will upset the form book on Sunday and beat Utd. We will be top for at least a couple of hours before Chelsea finish against blackburn. COYS
