King speaks of Tottenham management dream

Tottenham Hotspur legend Ledley King has spoken of his ambition to one day manage the club.

King retired from football in 2012 having played 323 times in a Tottenham shirt and is regarded as one of the finest defenders to have played for the club.

At 33. King is planning on going down the coaching route and is open to the possibility of a future career in management.  It would be fantastic to see a player who has been so loyal to our club one day fulfill his ambitions after his playing career was cut short.

“I will do my badges, complete that and it would be a dream come true for me to lead the team out as a manager,” King told Press Association Sport.

“It is early days for me still, I’ve got a lot to learn on that side and I realise how difficult it is.

“I will take my time, try to get my badges and all you can do is see where you go from there.”
