Levy is not trying to push up Modric price – Redknapp

Daniel Levy is not holding out to push the price up for Luka Modric according to Harry Redknapp.

The Spurs boss insists that the chairman’s stance of the Croatian not being available stands – despite the interest from Chelsea.

“The chairman says he is not for sale. He has made that clear. “Yesterday when I spoke to him he said that Luka definitely wasn’t going and that was the end of the matter as far as he was concerned.

“I keep seeing that the chairman is trying to push the price up (for Modric).

“He is not trying to push the price up. He is not for sale. He has made that clear. He doesn’t want to sell him.”

    Keep him clubs have to make a stand if he gets his way this time what is stopping the next good player we have wanting to leave while still under contract! If Luka don't like it tough stick him in the stands what we lose now we will gain in the future.

    We have to keep him to show ambition to other clubs and players or we will be seen as a stepping stone to bigger and better things,if that happens it was just 1 season to remember and in 40 yrs time we can all tell our grand kids when we watched Bale tear Inter Milan apart and went on to the last 8 of the best teams in Europe but the club were too stupid to seize the oppertunity to make it an every year occasion.
