Holtby on West Brom win

Arguably the most impressive display at The Hawthorns apart from Gareth Bale was Lewis Holtby.

The German Under-21 international came off the bench to replace the injured Jermain Defoe who was seen on crutches in the Spurs dugout. Holtby put in an impressive shift and always looked hungry to get on the ball and get the Tottenham players ticking.

Holtby has settled into life well at Spurs and is enjoying his time at the Lane.

He told Sky Sports 1: “The lads are all making it easy for me to play. It’s a fantastic club and I enjoy coming in every day.

“It’s a massive boost to get the three points away (from home). It’s unbelievable.

“If we have games like today and get the three points then it’s a massive relief. I’m just happy to be at the club.”
