“Negotiations exist with Tottenham for the loan of the player”

Roman Pavlyuchenko’s agent has confirmed that negotiations are taking place with Tottenham regarding a loan move to Sporting Lisbon.

“Negotiations exist with Tottenham for the loan of the player but I think that this is complicated by money,”  his agent Thomas Zorn told Portuguese media.

“Pavlyuchenko has a price and the money situation of Sporting makes it very difficult to reach an agreement.

“The contact continues but at this moment the forward is with Spurs. If Tottenham reject the player, it is clear that Sporting would be a good destination.”

    This is a ridiculous decision. Pav is a talented player – a loan at 28 will not help him in any way – and we we still be paying his wages!

    Harry if you want rid of Pav sell him and use the money to buy a £30 million striker.

    This current deal helps absolutely no one!

    Pav has came out and said he knows nothing of this, and his agent comes out saying there are negotiations, maybe its time to get a new agent, if he doesn't even tell his client that a deal is being negotiated for him to go to Portugal, certainly doesn't help to clear Pav's mind, maybe he has been Pav's main problem all along.

    PAV SHOULD STAY AND MAKE SURE HE PLAYS AS MUCH FOOTBALL FOR SPURS AS POSSIABLE THE GUY HAS TALENT AND AT 28 TIME IS NOT ON HIS SIDE , HE WILL LEARN NOTHING AT ANY OTHER CLUB THAT`S FOR SURE , HARRY THROW YOUR ARM`S AROUND HIM HE NEED`S LOVING CARE TELL HIM HE IS THE BEST STRIKER IN THE PREMIERSHIP !     i dont think we can let pav go i mean think about if we qualify for the champs lge we are going to play more games then ever before so we're gonna need a big squad and from harry hasnt signed anyone yet i dont think selling or loaning players out will benefit the club. well keane can go he rubbish we dont need him we got defoe crouch gudjohnsen pav and dos santos who are all better than him

    This story simply makes no sense whatsoever.

    Pavlyuchenko averaged a goal for every 123 minutes played last season compared with 133 minutes per goal for Defoe.

    Robbie Keane averaged 160 minutes per goal and Peter Crouch 229 minutes per goal…
