October, a big month ahead for Tottenham

October will be a very critical month in both our campaigns in the Champions League and the Premier League, including key games such as Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Manchester United.

October 14th vs Bournemouth (Home – Premier League)

This game might seem a little tricky. With a couple of days left to play Real Madrid in the Bernabeu, Poch will most likely rest key players for the game, such as the likes of Harry Kane, Alderweireld, and Mousa Dembele. On the other hand, Bournemouth are having a poor league form standing 19th and winning only one game in the last five. This can only foreshadow that they’ll attempt to grab at least a point. I predict a win for our side, with almost 1-0 or 2-0. But I still believe it’ll be a hard game.

October 17th vs Real Madrid (Away – Champions League)

The name that most Spurs fans lost their minds to see on our table. Real Madrid, the last season Champions, will be a critical game in our Champions League campaign. Although key players like Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Marcelo, and Benzema are out with injuries, they still have a strong squad with the likes Ronaldo, Asensio, Isco, and Ramos. I’m hoping for a point out of this game with either a 0-0 draw or 1-1. Still, Real Madrid have lost a couple of home games with an unusual negative form in the Liga, which can give us some confidence that we can beat them too!

October 22nd vs Liverpool (Home – Premier League)

Liverpool have been in a poor form lately, winning one game in the last six and drawing with the likes of Newcastle, Burnley, and Spartak. Although our history with Liverpool doesn’t really sound good to talk about, I’m confident that we can break the deadlock with our good, in form squad. Moreover, we can take advantage of both Kane’s super scoring form and Liverpool’s defensive problems. 2-1 win!

October 25th vs West Ham (Home – Carabao Cup)

Of course, cup games are a bit exceptional. But still, this is a derby. With the current West Ham form standing 15th with 7 points and winning two of their last five games, I’m still confident that we are favourites in winning this, not to mention our talented youngsters and a good bench. I’ll be hoping for good performances from Vorm, Winks, Sanchez, and Llorente, who I believe will all get chances to play this
game. 1-0 win!

October 28th vs Manchester United (Away – Premier League)

The Red Devils seem to be in a very fearsome and spine-chilling form this season. Unlike last year, they’re doing perhaps the same unbeaten run, except that they’re winning games this time with a high number of goals every game. Their real test will be against Liverpool, who are having an opposite form of their historical rivals. In fact, the game against Liverpool or against our side might be finally Man Utd’s turning point. I’ll be happy if we can get away with one point this time because playing at Old Trafford isn’t pretty easy. Moreover, United will be chasing after Man City, and will most probably not allow three points to separate them from the top. I’m going with a 0-0 draw.
