Palacios to Stoke City in the next 48 hours

Stoke City are hoping to tie up a deal for Wilson Palacios in the next 48 hours according to BBC Sport.

The Tottenham midfielder has been tipped to move to the Potters over the past couple of weeks and it now looks as if a deal is nearing completion.

Palacios joined Spurs from Wigan for £12m in 2009 and the transfer fee which Stoke are willing to pay is said to be around £6m.

Peter Crouch has also been linked with Stoke, but there is no further news on a move for him.

    Reports comming from The Daily Mail suggested the deals done,but haveing heard things like this before I’m more giarded about my celebrations these days.A few Stoke fbook sites also have it that Palacios is at our Clayton Woods training ground but I’ve not had anything concrete on this either.

    Talk of Crouch heading for talks at the Brit seem far fetched to me to for a kick off our wage structure couldn’t accomodate his pay demands ..no chance unless something has been agreed between the clubs .Even then I can’t see him moveing out of London .

    All this on the day we draw your lot in the league cup lol..can’t wait ;)
