Papers at it again with trio want to leave Spurs nonsense

The Sun are at it again with their nonsense Tottenham rumours by claiming that Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and Eric Dier all want to leave the club this summer.

According to the report, the three want away from Spurs after having their heads turned by offers to double their contracts of around £65,000-a-week.

Kyle Walker has been the player most heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, with Mauricio Pochettino’s preference to start Kieran Trippier in recent weeks only adding fuel to the transfer bonfire. The Sun claim that ‘Pochettino knows he is powerless to stop Eric Dier from leaving’ which is absolutely baffling considering that the England international only signed a new five-year deal last September.

It’s massively frustrating to see these types of rumours constantly circulating. Despite the fact we have a new stadium to pay for, there is no way that Mauricio Pochettino would leave all three players depart unless it was his decision.

Poch told the media last month: “In the future we take the best decision for the club. After three years you can see how the team is improving every year and all our decisions so far are good.

“Trust in the club that we will take the best decision for the club to achieve, to improve next season again, that’s most important.”
