Player Ratings vs Sunderland

Gomes (9) – Not quite a perfect ten due to dodgy kick out in second half that put us under pressure. Excellent performance.
Corluka (5) – Shown up for pace, short back header gave chance to Richardson, mugged by Reid a few times.
Assou-Ekotto (6) – Nice cross for goal but needs to deliver more when going forward. Terrible free-kick just after Gordon went off
Woodgate (6) – Looked slow but determined. Hopefully match practice will see him return to his best.
King (5) – Worryingly slow and tentative. Injured again. How long can he be allowed to limp on?
Jenas (5), Huddlestone (6), Palacios (5) – All three hampered and hamstrung by the formation. Massive improvement after Kranjcar came on.
Keane (6) – Found space well for goal, worked hard.
Crouch (6) – Made first goal but generally crowded out.
Defoe (6) – Rarely found space until late on. Held ball up well for goal two.

Where are Bournmouth, West Ham, Portsmouth, Southampton now.
This time next year I can see Spurs at the btm of the PL and Harry on a cruise somewhere.
Spurs are in a false position.
rednapp and coaches 1 pt for not working on n e thing during training
In Harry’s first 38 games league in charge of Tottenham he won 65 points, the same number as the great Martin Jol in his second season. As such we are where we are by merit.
True we aren’t playing too well at the moment but we are picking up points and that’s the sign of a good team…..look at Man U.
This is our best chance of CL football since MJ left, let’s get behind the team….booing them at half-time was a complete disgrace!
