Pomepy request to keep O’Hara for the season

Portsmouth have asked Tottenham if they can keep Jamie O’Hara until the end of the season.
O’Hara has impressed at Fratton Park since his loan switch in the summer, but was due back at Spurs in January.
However, Avram Grant has asked Harry Redknapp if he can keep hold of O’Hara until the end of the season, as Portsmouth battle against relegation.
O’Hara has also stated he’d like to stay at Portsmouth for the remainder of the season, as he doesn’t want to quit the club with them in such a perilous situation.
Whether this wish is granted, depends on Tottenham’s pursuit of Brazilian midfielder, Sandro, as failure to land him would leave Spurs with only Jermaine Jenas, Tom Huddlestone and Wilson Palacios as rivals for a central midfield slot.
Harry Redknapp said, “I spoke to Avram and he said he’d like to keep him if he can. I said let’s see how it goes and see what happens between now and January.
“He’s due to come back in January, but there’s an option for him to stay – although it’s our decision.”
