Porto are said to be holding out for as close the £22million release clause for Ricardo Pereira as possible, according to Sky.
Following Kyle Walker’s departure to Manchester City for around £50million, Spurs are now in the market for another right-back to push Kieran Tripper for the starting berth this season.
The Portuguese outfit are probably thinking that Spurs should stump up the full £22million, considering what they have received for Walker and would still have half of the transfer fee received.
Some suggest that Porto could accept a bid for around £16million, but they are in the process of balancing their books so are looking to recoup as much as they possibly can.
Kyle Walker-Peters is expected to go out on loan once Tottenham manage to bring in another right-back.
