It’s time to turn attention to the League Cup as Tottenham take on Barnsley at Wembley. It was all going so well after the fantastic win against Dortmund where we all thought the ‘Wembley curse’ had well and truly been put to bed, but a disappointing draw against Swansea on Sunday brought it all crashing back to the forefront of our minds.
Now it’s even getting to the stage where it’s squeaky bum time for the visit of Championship outfit Barnsley. Daniel Levy needs to be paying the construction workers at the Lane double time, the sooner we can go home – the better as far as I’m concerned. Wembley is a pain in the arse.
