Real to offer duo in Kane pursuit

An article in the Daily Star has said Real Madrid’s pursuit of Harry Kane could see two stars join Spurs this summer, according to reports in Spain.

Harry has been in sensational form for us this season already scoring 34 goals this year, including 23 in the Premier League and as result of his goalscoring exploits, a move to Madrid has been hotly touted for the summer.

Los Blancos are in the midst of a poor season by their standards, with a huge squad overhaul expected in the summer, even manager and club legend Zinedine Zidane’s future is in doubt.

Spurs have always maintained that Harry is not for sale however if reports in Spain are to be believed Real are ready to help fund a move by giving the Spurs two of their key stars and the two in question are Karim Benzema and Mateo Kovacic, according to Don Balon.

The French striker is a team ever present but he has failed to perform this season, knocking in just seven goals all season but Kovacic, on the other hand, has been regarded as one for the future at the Bernabeu.

The powers that be were sure that the Croatian was the natural heir to compatriot Luka Modric but he has been limited to appearances off the bench recently, and the club are willing to let the 23-year-old go to lure in their top target.

Several other Premier League names have been linked with a move to Real including Chelsea pair Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois, and Manchester United keeper David de Gea so their seems to be plenty of action in the pipeline at the Bernabeu this summer
